Intro.

Welcome!

I am a scientist-practitioner holding a Ph.D. in industrial-organizational psychology. I have industry experience working in talent assessment R&D, consulting, and People Teams developing science-backed assessment solutions, organizational people strategies, and training and development programs. Academically, I am affiliated with The HealthyWork Lab at Florida International University and employ quantitative and mixed-methods research to generate knowledge on a variety of topics, including personnel selection (e.g., psychometrics, applicant reactions), employee health, and neurodiveristy.

Recently, I conducted a mixed-methods study on the applicant reactions of neurodivergent individuals to a variety of technology-enabled hiring assessments, helping drive product innovations and informing best practices for neuro-inclusive hiring. This study was carried out in partnership with SHL, a global provider of talent acquisition and talent management solutions.

Outside of the academy and work, I enjoy photography, languages, and traveling. I have lived in Venezuela and Australia, and have native proficiency in Spanish and English.
